When our children make choices that go outside of the story we have told ourselves then it can be easy to try and fix our child, to make them conform to a set of rules we think they should be living their lives by. But when we decide to evolve as a parent we realize that our child doesn’t have to change at all and that the ability to have a great relationship with them is really within us.
Come listen to coach Darrin Thomas as he relates his own experience with one of his daughters that showed him the importance of his parenthood evolution and how that made a huge difference in how he sees his daughter and her struggles. Darrin is also on a mission to help other parents in similar situations have a better relationship with their children that don’t fit the mold of what they thought their kids would be like.
